Dinusha Gomes claimed the bronze medal in Women's 48kg Weightlifting event at the Commonwealth Games 2018 at Gold Coast a short while today (5).
Gomes lifted a total of 155kgs -- 70kgs in Snatch and 85kgs in Clean and Jerk -- to win Sri Lanka's second bronze medal in the ongoing games.
The gold medal was won by Chanu Mirabai of India, who lifted 196kgs while Marie Ranaivosoa lifted a total of 170kgs to win the silver medal.
