Kodituwakku's attempt pushes Sri Lanka a step close to another medal at the Commonwealth Games after she beat a hapless Barnes to reach the semi-finals.
She will meet renowned Indian boxer Mary Kom in the semi-final, which is scheduled for Wednesday (11).
