Sri Lankan track athlete Rumeshika Ratnayake finished second in the Women's 200m Heat 2, clocking 23.43secs, to qualify for the semi-finals at the Commonwealth Games 2018 today (10).
Ratnayake finished behind England's Dina Asher-Smith, who clocked 23.28secs to win the Heats.
Australia's Maddle Coates clocked 23.51secs to finish third to qualify alongside the top two.
The Bahamas' Anthonique Strachan also qualified for the semi-final after finishing fourth, with a timing of 23.52secs.
The semi-finals will take place on Wednesday (11) at 3.35pm, Sri Lanka time.
