Sri Lankan shuttlers Thilini Hendahewa and Kavindi Sirimannage defeated South Africans Michelle Butler-Emmett and Elsie de Villiers in the Badminton Women's Doubles Round of 16 match at the Commonwealth Games 2018 today (12).
Thilini and Kavindi beat the South African pair in straight sets 21-9 and 21-9 in a match that lasted 22 minutes, to reach the quarterfinals.
They will play the quarterfinals on Friday (13) at 6.00am Sri Lanka time.
