Air Force SC and Navy SC registered wins in the two matches of Women's Premier League Division I 2018 tournament played on Monday (15) at Air Force Ground in Ekala.
Air Force beat Army by 3-1 in the first match played, after trailing 0-1 at halftime.
W.M.R.S. Gunasekara scored a goal in 80th minute and R.M.C.K. Eknayake scored two goals in 87th and 90+1st minutes for SL Air Force.
I.L.E.K. Liyanage scored a goal in 22nd minute for SL Army.
In the second match, Navy defeated Police by 5-0.
Goals were scored by N.S. Manawadu (2 goals - 21st and 55th minutes), K.P.S. Perera (79th min), W.D.I.S Dias (80th min) and R.M.S.M. Ratnayake (87th min) for the winners.
The next two matches of Navy vs Army and Air Force vs Police, will be played on Wednesday (17) at the Air Force Ground in Ekala.
