Air Force SC emerged FFSL Women's Division I Tournament 2018 champions after the end of the two final round games played at Welisara on Saturday (27).
Navy SC won the runners-up title from the tournament, where four teams took part.
In the final two games Air Force SC recorded a smashing 5-0 win against Police SC while the game between Navy SC and Army SC ended in a 1-1 draw.
Air Force scored 5 goals against Police in the first match played.
Goal scorers for the winners were Kanchana Wiranga (17th minute), Radhika Gunasekara (42nd, 66th minutes), Buddhika Damayanthi (64th minute) and Chalani Ekanayake (89th minute).
In the second match the game between Navy and Army ended in a 1-1 draw.
Praveena Perera scored a goal for Navy while I.L.E.K. Liyanage scored a goal for Army.
Thus Air Force emerged champions of Women's Division I Tournament 2018 while Navy became the runners-up.
Army and Police ended up at third and fourth places respectively.
Army's Uma Priyadarshani received the award for Best Player of the Tournament and Ishanka Yohani Weerasinghe was awarded the Best Goalkeeper of the Tournament.
