Football: Annual TTSC Championship on Sunday
TheTravel Trade Sports Club (TTSC) Annual 7-a- side Soccer Tournament 2016, sponsored by Traveler Global (Pvt) Ltd., will be held on Sunday, August 21 at the Edward Henry Pedris Ground in Colombo.
Entries have been called from the TTSC Membership and will close on Monday, August 15 at 3.00pm with Anushka Perera, General Secretary/TTSC, C/o Connaissance de Ceylan, Level B/1, East Tower, World Trade Centre, Echelon Square, Colombo.
In the previous tournamentheld on March 21 at the Shalika Grounds, Sri Lankan Airlines ‘B’ team beat their ‘A’ Team 1-nil in the ‘Cup’ final.
Traveler Global won the ‘Plate’ beating Jetwing Blue Negombo, 3-Nil and Mermaid Hotel and Club, Kalutara won the ‘Bowl’, beating Paradise Beach Hotel, Negombo, 2-nil.
