Football Federation of Sri Lanka (FFSL) is planning to conduct selection trials to pick players for the Under-23 National Football team in the upcoming week.
The FFSL will conduct the selection trials from next Monday (7) at the Baddegana National Football Training Centre.
"Selection is to be conducted aiming the AFC Under-23 Championship and the South Asian Games (SAG) to be held in March and September this year," the FFSL stated in its press release.
"FFSL has already informed its affiliated Football Leagues to send the talented and skillful players for the above mentioned trials and those players should have born on or after January 1, 1997. FFSL request the young players who are willing to join National Squads to participate for the trails with the recommendations from their respective leagues," the statement added.
