Pogahawela Sports Club outplayed Kotte Sports Club 3-0 to clinch the FFSL Women's Division II Football Championship 2016 in the final played at the Kelaniya Football Complex on Sunday (29).
Chalani Ekanayake struck two goals for the winners while Ishani Madushani netted one as Polgahawela SC led 2-0 at halftime.
The tournament is organised and conducted by the Football Federation of Sri Lanka (FFSL).
A short while later, the official car of the Commander of the Navy, bearing plate NAHA 5006, departed from Navy House, Longdon Place, Colombo 7.
