Ratnam SC, Blue Star and Defenders FC recorded wins while Negombo Youth drew with Saunders in four Dialog Champions League (DCL) 2018 football matches played on Sunday (28).
Ratnam SC defeated Air Force SC 1-0 in their match played at Longdon Place.
The first half ended scoreless but Ratnam striker L.K. Didier scored a goal in the 50th minute to see his side record a deserving win.
Blue Star was given a close fight by Navy Seahawks at Welisara as the halftime and fulltime ended without a goal from both side.
However during extra time Blue Star striker A.C.M. Sahlan managed to strike the solitary goal of the game.
Defenders FC thrashed Java Lane 4-0 in their match played at Kelaniya as the winners led 1-0 at halftime.
Striker Mohamed Issadeen struck three goals (38th, 60th and 72nd minutes) while G.E. Priyashantha scored a goal in the 83rd minute for Defenders.
Negombo Youth drew with Saunders 1-1 in their match played at the City Football Complex in Colombo.
Sundar Raj Niresh struck a goal in the 21st minute as Saunders took an early lead and led the halftime 1-0.
But Shanaka Prasad equalised in the 71st minute to put Negombo Youth back in the game as the game ended in a draw.
