Football: Sam Chandrasoma Schools tourney this weekend

The Sam Chandrasinghe Football Tournament for the Under-17 age category, an annual event for all Island Schools, organized by the Old Anandian Soccer Wing will be held at the Sugathadasa Stadium this weekend. The 13th edition of the tournament, which will run on Saturday (25) and Sunday (26), features 48 school teams. The Football Federation of Sri Lanka and the School Football Association of Sri Lanka have sanctioned the tournament, which is sponsored by Sam Chandrasinghe, a past football player of Ananda College.
