Thailand put a spirited show to beat Singapore 3-2 in the second match of the Bangabandhu Gold Cup at the Sylhet Stadium on Friday (30). Midfielder Sensomaiad Adisak headed Kana Narakon's corner inside the Singapore net in the 7th minute (1-0). Midfielder Srinawong Chayawat doubled the lead in the 31st minute with a placing shot in the 31st minute (2-0). However Singapore came back strong and Iqram Yazid reduced the margin in the 49th minute (2-1). In the 53rd minute Taufik bin Suparna scored the second to equalise the scoreline (2-2). Parmpak Pakorn sealed the victory for Thailand in the 80th minute capitalising a defence blunder (3-2).
