The awards ceremony of the annual Inter Community Centres and Playgrounds sports festival held recently will be held today (19) at the Colombo Colts Cricket Club, Havelock Town from 4.00pm.
The softball cricket final is scheduled to take place at the same venue commencing at 8.00am.
Over 600 players in 12 sports - Wrestling, Table Tennis, Carrom, Basketball, Softball Cricket, Body Building, Physical Sports, Power Lifting, Judo, Volleyball, Football and Netball will be honoured on this evening with Rosy Senanayake, Prime Minister's spokeswomen and Deputy Head of the Prime Minister's office will grace the occasion as Chief Guest and will distribute the awards.
