The ever consistent Narahenpitage Amarapadma continued his good form, from the March edition of the CAT Solar Pin Fernando Grand Prix to shoot 4 under par in the 1st Round of the 04 round event sponsored by United Tractor and Equipment the distributor for CAT Solar in Sri Lanka.
Sisira Kumara is one stroke behind returning a 3 under par 68, with prolific winner of Grand Prix editions B. A. Sanjeewa in joint 3rd place with G .M. Pradeep Kumara, 4 strokes behind the leader on even par 71.
The junior golfers also playing off the Competition Tees saw T. Akash leading the field by 4 strokes from Januka Dilshan, Armand Flamer Caldera and Taniya Minel the only junior girl in the field, playing from the same Tees as the other Grand Prix participants.
A creditable effort from the youngster with great potential to excel in the Ladies National and International events for Sri Lanka.
The 2nd Round of the CAT Solar Pin Fernando Grand Prix continues at the RCGC and a cut-off will be applied after Round 2.
