Golf: RCGC Open 2018 attracts top professionals in Sri Lanka
The Royal Colombo Golf Club Open, re-vitalized last year will be played at the RCGC from August 28 to 31.
Top Sri Lankan Professionals Mithun Perera, R.A. Anura Rohana, N. Thangaraja, K. Prabagaran, Lalith Kumara, Vijitha Bandara, Tissa Chandaradasa, the RCGC Club Professional Jehan De Saram, will Tee-off among the top Amateur Golfers of Sri Lanka Amrith De Soysa, Sachin De Silva, Kushal Johnpillai, Sisira Kumara, B.A. Sanjeewa, J.M.D. Indika, N. Amarapadma, N. Ranga, and many others with a participation of 80+ expected.
Altair Group sponsor the RCGC Open for the second successive year and the credit of reviving the RCGC Open goes to the Captain Avancka Herath and last years’ Captain Ranil Pathirana and the untiring effort of GM of the RCGC Nalin Jayathilaka.

Rs 30 million worth tabs and mobiles left behind at duty free shop
Customs have detected 228 mobile phones and tabs valued at over Rs 30 million left behind in the duty free shopping complex at the Banaranaike International Airport today, Customs officials said.
