Wasantha de Silva, Ali Jafferji and Shamara Wettimuny will represent Sri Lanka at the world final of the prestigious BMW Golf Cup International to be held at the Montagu Golf Course and Outeniqua Golf Course in George, South Africa.
A total of 72 countries will taking part in the tournament to be held in the Western Cape Province of South Africa.
The BMW Golf Cup International was held successfully for the fifth consecutive year at the Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGC) on October 2015.
One of the most sought after golf tournaments in the country, the event saw 280 golf enthusiasts teeing off to win exciting awards.
There were three categories in this tournament and the winners of each category was given an all-expenses paid trip to South Africa to participate in the World final of the prestigious BMW Golf Cup International.
Wasantha de Silva won the BMW Golf Cup ‘A’ Division (Owners Category) and Shamara Wettimuny won BMW Ladies category while Ali Jafferji won the BMW Golf Cup B Division (Owners Category).
