The selection committee of Sri Lanka Schools Hockey Association (SLSHA) has picked a national pool of 37 players, who are representing leading hockey playing schools in the island, from which, the final 20 players including the four stand-bys will be selected to form the Sri Lanka Schools Boys Under-18 team to contest at the invitational BKSP International Hockey Tournament to be held at Zirani - Savar in Bangladesh from June 26 to July 4.
The tournament is conducted by the Bangladesh Institute of Sports.
The trials for the final selection of 20 players will be held on Tuesday (5) at the Astro Turf in Colombo starting at 9.00am.
The pool selected consists of following players:
