Hockey: Trinity 6s this weekend
Trinity College Kandy will host a two-day 6-a-side Hockey Tournament in connection with the school's 70th anniversary of the sport, at the Asgiriya Stadium this weekend (14 and 15).
Over 450 players are expected to be featured at this Under-19 tournament with 54 schools from across the island confirming participation.
The preliminary rounds of the tournament will be played on Saturday (14) with a schedule of 70 matches in total from 8.00am to 4.00pm.
The final round will be held on Sunday (15).
