Young Stars SC beat Old Kingswood SC by 3 goals to 2 goals in a closely contested final to annex the title at the Kandy District Inter-Club League Hockey Tournament 2016 concluded at University ground in Peradeniya on May 7.
For the champions, K. Gamage netted two goals and S. Wijeyawardane one while S.K. Obeysiri and M.N. Mulafar claimed a goal each for the runners up.
