The Royal Turf Club (RTC) will begin its horseracing season for 2019 with a raceday on March 31, a Sunday, prior to holding two mega events.
The RTC racedays come alive after nearly 10 months, as races were forced to be delayed by weather conditions, which resulted a damped race track.
However after observing continuously for weeks and months, the RTC has finalised three racedays from March 31.
On April 15, a day after the Sinhala and Tamil New Year, RTC will hold the ever popular Governor's Cup and Queen's Cup followed by the mega event, the RTC Magic Million on April 21.
