A farewell ceremony was held for Sri Lankan fast bowler Nuwan Kulasekara who announced his retirement from international cricket recently.
Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), had announced that yesterday's One Day International (ODI) match between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh had been dedicated for the fast bowler.
Sri Lanka clinched the ODI series three-nil as they beat Bangladesh by 122 runs - the first series win at home for the island in 44 months.
Kulasekara made his international debut in 2003 against England and since then played 21 Test matches, 184 ODI's and 58 T20 Internationals for Sri Lanka in a career that spanned 16 years. He had taken 313 wickets across all formats.
