Sri Lankan ODI captain Lasith Malinga has signed up with IPL franchise Mumbai Indians for a sum of two million Indian rupees.
Malinga was purchased by the Mumbai Indians for the said sum at yesterdays IPL auction.
Accordingly, Malinga who served as the bowling consultant for Mumbai Indians last year will represent his franchise as a player during this years edition of the tournament.
