Citizens' Development Business (CDB) beat Lankem Ceylon by 5 wickets to emerge champions of the Mercantile Cricket Association (MCA) Division 'E' Tournament played at the MCA ground on Sunday.
In the 30-over final Lankem elected to bat and posted 172-9 while CDB chased down the target losing five wickets and with 21 deliveries to spare.
For Lankem Lisula Weerasekara top scored with 56 while Rukshan Weerasinghe and Dinesh Chandimal chipped in with useful knocks of 34 and 29 not out respectively.
CDB's Shanil Perera picked 3 for 33.
Yohan Liyanage scored 65 runs while Thanushka Perera remained unbeaten on 40 runs when CDB crossed the winning post.
Chathuranga Dikkumbura contributed with a knock of 30.
In the semi-finals CDB beat Mercantile Investments while Lankem beat UB Finance to reach the final.
