The 6th Stafford-Honda, MCA 'G' Division 25-Over League Tournament 2016which was postponed from its scheduled June 12 start, due to rain, will now get back on track this weekend with a card of 12 fixtures.
Debutantes Laugfhs Holdings, Wruth Lanka, CEAT Kelani International and Micro Holdings will be making their maiden appearances this weekend.
On Saturday (25) sponsors Stafford Motors played debutantes, Wruth Lanka in the curtain-raiser at St. Sebastian’s College grounds in Moratuwa.
The final rites of veteran broadcaster, writer, and lyricist Nirmala de Alwis will be held today at Peradeniya.
