MCA Cricket: HNB, Kanrich 'B', JKH 'B', Expolanka reach Div 'B' into KO stage

The League stage of the 'Fair & Lovely Men' Trophy – MCA 'B' Division 50-Over Tournament came to a close on October 31, with 4 teams, HNB, Kanrich Finance (Kanrich) 'B', John Keells Holdings (JKH) 'B' and Expolanka Group (Expolanka) advancing to the Knockout (KO) stage. 

The tournament was conducted with 8 teams in a single League, playing 28 matches. At its completion, the 4 top teams in the Points table booked their berths for the KO stage.

The KO stage matches for the first time will be conducted on the IPL system as under. 
At Katunayake: League No.1 HNB vs League No.2 Kanrich 'B' (the winner advancing to the final).
 
At Maggona: League No.3 JKH 'B' vs League No.4 Expolanka (winner meeting loser of HNB vs Kanrich 'B' on Nov.6 at MCA).
 
The Final is scheduled for Saturday (10) at MCA.
