Rohana Dissanayake from David Pieris Motor Co. was unanimously elected as the 41st President of the Mercantile Cricket Association (MCA) at its 102nd Annual General Meeting held on September 26 at the MCA fine diner ‘The Pitch’.
Sirosha Gunatillake from Trendex Lanka is the new General Secretary.
The three new faces in the committee are Ajith Siyambalapitiya from MAS Unichela, Sajith Atapattu from Asia Asset Finance and Hasitha Dassanayake from Citizens Development Business (CDB).
Tarindra Kaluperuma (Stafford Motor Company) was appointed as the new Chairman of the Tournament Committee.
