In the other semi-final played on the same day, Gihan de Silva hit a sparkling 73 runs in 63 balls inclusive of a six and 10 fours to guide LB Finance ‘B’ to a fine 37-run win over Airport and Aviation Services. Standard Chartered Bank, last year’s Division ‘F’ runners-up, will now confront LB Finance ‘B’, who won the Division ‘G’ title in 2014, in the final at the MCA grounds.
