The New Zealand cricket squad which is touring Sri Lanka had to use alternative transport after their team bus broke down while travelling to their hotel in Kandy.
New Zealand Team Manager Mike Sandle, in a video posted by New Zealand Cricket on its Twitter handle, said that the clutch of the bus had broken down in the central hills of the island.
Accordingly, some squad members including Mr. Sandle himself had to travel in an ambulance, while the rest of the squad had been taken to their destination on another bus, a van and an army jeep.
