Police SC were given an unexpected scare by CH and FC before securing a thrilling 26-21 win in their second round match of the Dialog Division 'A' Inter-Club Rugby League Championship played at Police Park on Sunday (29).
Police led 26-7 at halftime but were prevented from moving ahead as CH took control of the second session.
Police scored from four tries and three conversions while CH scored from three converted tries.
A short while later, the official car of the Commander of the Navy, bearing plate NAHA 5006, departed from Navy House, Longdon Place, Colombo 7.
