CR and FC recorded a thrilling 36-33 win against Air Force SC in the quarter-final match of the Dialog Clifford Cup Knockout Rugby Championship played at the Racecourse ground in Colombo on Friday (17).
CR led the halftime by 17-12 and dominated the game throughout before walking out winners with a tally of five tries, four conversions and a penalty.
The Airmen who led 33-29 in the dying stages of the game were able to score from five tries and four conversions.
CR will meet Kandy SC in the semi-final clash scheduled to take place on Wednesday (22) at Nittawela.
