A rather young CR&FC outfit made amendments to their first round woes, as they went on to beat Army SC by 24-17 in a second round match of Dialog Rugby League Championship played at Havelock Park on Friday (29).
CR, who were beaten by Army 24-10 in the first round showed that they have world hard enough by pulling off deserving win with a tally of three converted tries and a penalty.
The match was deadlocked at 10-10 at halftime as the Soldiers were outdone in the second half but were good enough to score from two converted tries and a penalty.
