CR and FC handed Air Force SC an unexpected thrashing of 57-20 in the first round match of the Dialog Division 'A' Inter-Club League Rugby Championship played at Longdon Place on Sunday (27).
The match was expected to be a tough one after Air Force had defeated reigning champions Kandy SC two weeks ago.
At halftime CR and FC led by 31-6 and went on to score from a total of eight tries, seven conversions and a penalty.
Air Force did most of their scoring in the second half and scored from two converted tries and two penalties.
