Havelocks Sports Club recorded a dominating 36-0 win against Police Sports Club in their first round match of the Dialog Rugby League Tournament played at Havelock Park today (4).
In a game that was affected by rain, Havelocks took control from the first whistle as they ended with a tally of five tries, four conversions and a penalty.
Havelocks led the halftime by 17-0 as Jason Melder touched down twice with a try each coming from Prasad Madushanka and Kevin Dixon.
Riza Mubarak made four conversions and put over the solitary penalty.
