Havelocks SC spoilt the chances of CR&FC from winning a possible game, as they won their first round match of the Dialog Rugby League Championship by 35-30 at Longdon Place today (9).
At halftime the Havies led by 19-13.
The winners went on to record their win with a tally of five tries, two conversions and two penalties.
CR, who suffered their third straight defeat, scored from two converted tries and three penalties.
