Havelocks SC recorded a stunning 37-29 victory against giant killers Air Force SC in a second round match of the Dialog Division 'A' Inter-Club Rugby Championship at Havelock Park today (21).
The game was intensely battled from the beginning as both teams were locked at 14-all when the halftime break was made.
Eventually, with a little bit of help from the sudden heavy downpour, Havies recorded after the game was tied at three occasions.
The winners scored from four converted tries and three penalties.
The Airmen scored from four tries, three conversions and a penalty.
A short while later, the official car of the Commander of the Navy, bearing plate NAHA 5006, departed from Navy House, Longdon Place, Colombo 7.
