Havelock Sports Club scraped through to record a deserving win against a spirited Police Sports Club team by 31-26 in an evenly balanced fourth week match of the Dialog Rugby League Championship played at Police Park today (30).
The game was intensely battled as both teams were locked at a few times as the first half ended at 14-all.
Havies scored from five tries and three conversions while mostly leading the game as they topped the eight-team table.
The Cops scored from four tries and three conversions as both teams earned bonus points.
