Havelocks SC topped the Dialog Rugby League point table after the second round, beating defending champions Kandy SC by 28-26 in their final Round 2 game played at Havelock Park on Saturday (16).
Kandy did not show the brilliance they displayed early on in the CR game but still they were up and away to a healthy 19-0 lead after around 25 minutes of play.
Kandy went on to lead the first half by 19-7.
The Havies bounced back to score from four converted tries to secure a win against Kandy SC after seven years.
Kandy scored from four tries and three conversions.
