Reigning champions Kandy SC recorded a morale boosting 34-23 win against Police SC in the second round match of the Dialog Division 'A' Inter-Club Rugby League Championship at Police Park today (21).
Kandy lived up to their expectations to take a comfortable 31-8 at halftime and went on to score from four converted tries and two penalties.
Police scored from three tries, a conversion and two penalties.
A short while later, the official car of the Commander of the Navy, bearing plate NAHA 5006, departed from Navy House, Longdon Place, Colombo 7.
