Kandy SC beat Havelocks SC by 28-12 in the final second round league match to retain the Dialog Division ‘A’ League Rugby Championship with an unbeaten record at Nittawela on Sunday (28).
Kandy SC recorded their 14th straight win and became the only unbeaten side this year as they led the halftime 10-5 against League runner-up Havelocks.
The winners collected their points from five tries and a conversion.
Havelocks scored from two tries and a conversion.

A Sri Lankan man was apprehended at Suvarnabhumi airport for attempting to smuggle wildlife out of the country after three ball pythons were found hidden in his underwear, the Bangkok post reported.
