Defending champions Kandy Sports Club recorded a runaway 38-10 win against Army Sports Club in their Dialog Rugby League Championship match played at Ratmalana on Saturday (24).
Kandy led the halftime 14-5 and after making a roaring start.
The winners collected their points from five converted tries and a drop goal while earning bonus points.
Army scored from two unconverted tries.
CR flyhalf Tarinda Ratwatte converted four tries to take his points tally to 53 in just three matches.
