Rugby: Kandy thrash Soldiers 58-13
Defending champions Kandy Sports Club recorded a thumping 58-13 win against Army Sports Club in a Dialog Rugby League Championship match played at Nittawela on Sunday (19).
Kandy led the halftime by 34-6 and went on to score from nine tries, five conversions and a penalty.
The Soldiers made up their points from a converted try and two penalties.
