Kandy SC took sweet revenge over Air Force SC by 73-13 in their second round fixture of the Dialog Division 'A' Inter-Club Rugby League Championship at Nittawela on Sunday (29), as the winners gained the top slot of the points table.
At halftime Kandy led 40-3 and went on to score from 11 tries and nine conversions.
The Airmen scored off two unconverted tries and a penalty.
With the resounding win, Kandy took the top position of the points table with 10 wins out of 12 games ahead of Havelocks SC, who has recorded 11 wins in 12 games.
Both Kandy and Havelocks have accumulated 63 points but the defending champions are ahead of the former champs in all other calculations, taking them to the top of the league.
