Former Sri Lanka Rugby 7s sensation, Radhika Hettiarachchi has been offered the Head Coach position by the Nepal Rugby Association (NRA).
Hettiarachchi will be in-charge of the Nepal men's and women's teams for the upcoming season and he has already flown to Nepal to take over his appointment.
Hettiarachchi will be the second Sri Lankan in the recent history to coach another country besides Ronnie Ibrahim, who was the Head Coach of India few years back.
Hettiarachchi's first assignment will be preparing Nepal for the Asian 7s Series in August.
He was a former Dharmaraja College, Kandy SC, CH&FC, CR&FC, now defunct Upcountry Lions, Sri Lanka 7s and 15s captain.
The former dashing winger, went on to coach his former school Dharmaraja College Kandy to become unbeaten Singer League champions, the only time the school from hill capital recorded such a feat.
