The Sri Lanka 7s Rugby team will face Germany in their opening Group match at 12.05pm, local time, on Saturday (18) at the Rio Olympic Rugby 7s Qualifiers in Monaco.
Sri Lanka is in Group 'B' alongside Germany, Canada and Uruguay in the competition where a total of 16 teams are in contention for the remaining berth of the Rio Olympics Rugby 7s.
Sri Lanka is set to meet their toughest opponent in Canada on the same day later at 3.00pm local time.
Their final match will be up against Uruguay at 6.15pm.
The second round and the knockouts will be played on Sunday (19).
The Sri Lanka 7s team led by Sudarshana Muthutanthri includes Danushka Ranjan, Fazil Marija, Roshan Weeraratne, Srinath Sooriyabandara, Danushka Dayan, Richard Dharmapala, Suhiru Anthony, Kanchana Ramanayake, Kavindu Perera, Rochana Hettiarachchi and Jason Dissanayake.
