Sri Lanka beat Afghanistan 36-0 in their final Pool 'C' rugby match at the 18th Asian Games 2018 in Indonesia today (31).
Sri Lanka scored their points from six tries and three conversions and led 14-0 at halftime.
Srinath Sooriyabandara and Sudam Sooriyarachchi scored two tries each while Reeza Raffaideen and Kavindu Perera posted a try each.
Sooriyabandara converted two tries while Sooriyarachchi put over one.
Sri Lanka will now compete in the Cup quarter-finals, which is scheduled to begin later today but the match lineup has been not released by the organisers yet.
On Thursday (30) Sri Lanka thrashed the United Arab Emirates by 68-0 and lost to South Korea narrowly by 26-31.
