Sri Lanka recorded a smashing 31-0 win against China in their opening match of the Asian 7s Series at the Hong Kong Football Club today (14).
Sri Lanka led 14-0 at halftime and scored from five tries and three conversions.
Debutant Dinuk Amarasinghe, Sudam Sooriyaarachchi, Buddhima Piyaratne, Adeesha Weeratunga and Kevin Dixon scored a try each for Sri Lanka.
The three conversions were made by Srinath Sooriyabandara, Sooriyaarachchi and Dixon.
Sri Lanka will meet Japan in their second group stage match at 2.45pm Sri Lanka time today (14).
