A six-member Sri Lanka team, consisting of school shooters, will leave the island for the World Junior Shooting Championship to be held in Schulz, Germany.
The team includes shooters from the ages of 13 to 16 and will leave Sri Lanka on Thursday (22).
Chandu Senanayake from Maliyadeva College will be the only shooter from the outstations while the remaining members are from schools in Colombo and the suburbs.
Other members of the team are Anish Dambakola, Midira Peiris, Knashika Wasudeva, Limni Pasqual and Amandika Amarasinghe.
The competition will begin on Thursday (22) and will continue until June 30.
