Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) named the Test squad with Dinesh Chandimal as skipper and fast bowler Suranga Lakmal as vice captain, for the two-match series against Bangladesh.
The squad includes ODI opener Danushka Gunathilaka, who has been named for Tests for the first time.
SLC’s National Selection Panel has appointed Suranga Lakmal as the vice captain of the Test team touring Bangladesh.
The first Test will be played from January 31 to February 4 at the ZACS, Chittagong followed by the second Test at the Shere Bangla Stadium in Dhaka from February 8 to 12.
