Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has issued a press release clarifying that former SLC President Thilanga Sumathipala did not take part in talks with the International Cricket Council (ICC) yesterday (Mar 03).
The release noted that SLC President Shammi Silva was the only representative to engage in high-level talks with the ICC.
However, SLC Secretary Mohan Silva and former Chairman Sumathipala had taken part in other meetings with the members of the global sporting body, SLC added.
A press release was issued by the SLC yesterday stating that Sri Lanka had secured its due grants by the ICC amounting upto USD 11.5 million which was withheld since July last year.
