The 33rd edition of the Travel Trade Sports Club Swimming Championships 2017, sponsored by Luxe Asia will take place at the Thurstan College pool on Sunday (26), from 9.30am onwards.
The meet governed by the technical rules of Sri Lanka Aquatic Sports Union will be conducted on a team championship basis under the age categories, for Novices, Championship and Veterans, consisting 95 events.
Entries have been called from the 160 strong TTSC membership, and closed on Friday (24) at 3.00pm, with Ridma Withanage and Viren Anthonesz c/o Walkers Tours, Sir Chiththampalam A Gardiner Mawatha, Colombo 2.
In the 2016 meet held on January 22 at the same venue,Walkers/Whittalls won the team championship; Cinnamon City Hotels came in second and Diethlem/Serendib took the third spot.
This will be the eighth event in the TTSC 2017 multi events calendar, having earlier completed, Bowling, Archery, Pool, Badminton, Futsal Soccer, Softball Cricket 'sixes' and Beach Tag Rugby.
